On 4 th of July, America celebrates its independence and each year, the celebrations get better and better.
Here is a list of places to see the most outstanding firework shows, with lots of live music, parades, and local food. America Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park – Enjoy the live music and the delicious food from many stands in the park. The festival starts at 3pm and concludes with fireworks at 9pm. If you can get a seat at the Amphitheater, you’ll get a prime view of the light display over the bay. The Bayside is located in Miami at 301 Biscayne. City of Miami Beach Fourth of July – A true demonstration of patriotism, the music starts at 7pm bringing the crowds to start the show at 9pm. The festivities will be at the beach, at 8 th street and Ocean Drive. Old Fashioned July Fourth at the Bernacle – In the historic area of Coconut Grove, you can celebrate fourth of July by visiting the Monroe House and checking out the lifestyle at the time of the independence. Kids can participate of the activities, such as kite-making, knot demonstrations, among other time-period inspired events. You can even have a pic-nic at tables, brining your own food, or from their own stands. There will be no fireworks, but an authentic experience of that way of life.Bernacle State Historic Site is located in the heart of the Grove at 3485 Main Highway. Show at the Peacock Park em Coconut Grove – If you spend the day at the Bernacle, here is the ideal place to see the fireworks at night. The city is planning a party with lots of food, live music, and a big playground for the children, starting at 9pm. Key Biscayne Fourth of July Parade – If you are looking for a true one, this is the very old fashioned parade in Key Biscayne on this Independence Day. It will feature traditional floats, music, and fireworks. The parade will start at Crandon Boulevard at 11 am and the fireworks will start at 9 pm. City of Homestead Concert and Fireworks – The city of Homestead is hosting an Independence Day festival at the Homestead Miami Speedway from 6-10pm and will feature entertainment, food, music and firework show. Fort Lauderdale July 4th Celebration – The city of Fort Lauderdale is hosting “Forth of July Spectacular” at A1A and Las Olas. The celebration starts at 1pm with family activities including DJ and beach games. The music will continue throughout the evening with fireworks on the beach at 9pm.
